Position Description:

These positions work in our Intensive Behavioral Management Program and are Direct Care positions that support individuals with intellectual, developmental and physical disabilities. The persons supported in this department may also have behavioral and psychological issues.

These are FT positions that require the ability to work flexible hours. May work holidays, weekends, days, evenings and overnights (awake or sleep). Schedules are posted one week in advance but are subject to change at any time to adjust for an occurring crisis. Staff in this position may also work in our Adult Residential program if the census in the IBMP program decreases. While working in IBMP the position pays up to $14.42 per hour and pay rates while working in the Adult Residential Program vary between $11.43 - $12:61. 


High School Diploma/GED required. These positions require one year of working with developmental disabilities or a similar population is required and some experience implementing behavioral plans. Those who do not have the level of experience needed for this position may qualify for a position in our Adult Residential Program. Must also be 18 years old or older, and have a valid driver's license along with two (2) years of driving experience and good driving history.

The successful candidate will also need to pass a reading comprehension and math test, background check, pre-employment screenings including drug screen. These are very physical positions that require lifting, transferring, and the ability to provide direct care and implement proper restraint techniques to ensure person's served health and safety.
