Job Summary

Get full time hours working extended weekend schedules with paid sleep time!

These direct care career opportunities will provide support to individuals with disabilities to live/work as independently as possible in a variety of settings by assisting them in developing new skills to reach their goals. These openings are in our Adult Residential and Personal Support Program. Available work schedules typically including working Fridays or Saturdays through Sundays or Mondays. For example: Fridays at 10 pm through Sundays at 8:00 pm, Saturdays at 10:00 pm through Mondays at 8:15 am., etc. There are also a few single-shift overnight sleep schedules available through the week; i.e., Wednesdays 10:00 pm through Thursdays at 9:00 am, Thursdays 10:00 pm through Fridays at 9:00 am, etc.

These are full time positions with pay that ranges from $11.43 - $11.56 per hour for awake time and $10.10 per hour for sleep time.

Qualifications and Skills

A high school diploma/GED is preferred but not required. Most of these are entry-level positions with no experience required. However, some do require one year of working with developmental disabilities or a similar population. Must be 18 years old or older, have a valid driver's license along with two (2) years of driving experience, and a good driving history.

The successful candidate will also need to pass a reading comprehension and math test, a background check, and pre-employment screenings which include a drug screen. Position requires lifting, transferring, and the ability to provide direct care and implement proper restraint techniques to ensure the health and safety of the persons served. Must be able to attend our two weeks paid specialized training (held M-F 8:30 am 5:00 pm). Competitive benefits & tuition reimbursement offered.
